APAD- Day 68 – Body Language
Some fun body language from a few random people that I met today.
APAD- Day 62- Spying on daddy
Watching daddy from underneath the sofa bed. I crawled under the couch to get a different vantage point, one that Hazel is very familiar with.
APAD- Day 56- Reflected
I technical and officially forgot about yesterday’s post and didn’t pick up my camera to shoot anything before the end of the night. I did however shoot this single cell phone picture of Hazel enjoying the view and scents from the car window while we were briefly stopped at the light.
APAD- Day 52- Toys
I came home with an hour until midnight after a long day of shooting at a corporate conference… while I was relaxing Hazel decided to pull out all of her toys and play with each one of them! Silly creature!
APAD- Day 24- Snowsicle
Hazel is 4, and in the two years that we’ve had her, this is the first time that she is seeing snow/sleet. I let her out early in the morning to see what she would do. She didn’t seem to care about anything but licking a sheet of ice that had formed on the deck!
APAD- Day 9- Buried treasures
I was delighted to see this buried in the yard. On first look it looks like just some random plastic thing, but you don’t understand, or see is that it is actually about 9 inches long! This is a Treatstik, it is a container with a small opening in it where you can put dog food and your dog has to roll it around and earn it’s dinner/treat.
Hazel on the other hand, she doesn’t actually play with it to earn her food, she grabs it like it’s made of gold and scours for a spot in the yard to bury it. I lost it for about 2 weeks once and found it in a bag of potting soil next to the shed. This is the second time she has buried it!
APAD- Day 6- Sleeping Hazel
I’m gonna cheat and post a photo that I shot a few hours after Day 6 ended (2 am on the 7th)… I’ll leave the old one up so I feel semi-honest about it!

A little slow day. This is Miss Hazel sleeping in the back on the car ride home from hanging out with her doggie cousin Alfie.
APAD- Day 3- Fluffy velcro!
There’s nothing like the love of a velcro dog. If I leave a room, my shadow is usually only a few steps behind me. If I hide, the shadow goes into a frenzy around the house in search of me! I love this fluffy girl.
APAD- Day 1: Happy Birthday Hazel!
Hello! Meet my wide-eyed furry child, Hazel! Today, aside from being New Years, also marks a great day for us. It is Hazel’s 4th Birthday! It is also the day, 2 years ago when we adopted her. We’ve had her for half of her life now!
It’s been over a year since I’ve given this blog any love. My new year’s resolution is to post a photo a day, just like when I started this blog in college.
